Due to it’s location at the tip of the peninsula, Penzance has a very small annual and diurnal temperature range.
Taking the year as a whole Mount’s Bay is the warmest area of mainland Britain.

The 1981-2010 figures are based on my figures for 1992/2010, and those for Drift Water works for 1981-1991.
The 1991-2020 figures are based on my figures apart from 1991, which is from Drift Water works.
(During the period 1992 -1999 the total rainfall at Drift (2 miles WSW of my station) was 99.5% of the rainfall I recorded.)
